Medium: Marron Seeds, Creeper Stems and Cardboard
After collecting about a 100 Marron Seeds (Non Edible Chestnuts) and over 100 red stems from a creeper, I decided to arrange them in a circle that might represent energy waves entering or leaving. I left this piece out and it was exposed to the dark, sunlight, cold and heat over the course of 3 days. This piece is meant to reflect on the depletion of energy over time. We can observe that the red stems have lost a little colour and look a little thinner. I suppose they will be completely brown just like the Marron seeds after a month...

Is there a more open space for your spiral to interact with the elements and spin its own course?
